Offroad Adventure Show Landcruiser Tray and Toolboxes

Final post for the year for Luke Bodyworks and final working day. We’ll be back in action January 4th. Here’s a special tray and canopy build. We were approached by @offroadadventureshow to build a custom fitout for a 79 series land cruiser. They were looking for a versatile modular half canopy featuring drawers and adjustable shelves to suit their different requirements and tray space at the rear for their extra gear and a spare tyre mount on the canopy. We also fabricated some underbody toolboxes for all four corners and a underbody drawer with a lift up bench top on gas stays as well as a 50l water tank underneath at the front of the tray. On the roof we fitted a Rhino Rack Pioneer platform. To finish off the look of the tray we incorporated our logo into the rear ladder rack. Toyota Hilux Matte Black Tray and Toolboxes

Here’s a custom Satin Black tray for a new hilux. Fitted out with drawers on one side and a MSA drop down fridge slide on the other. All with a water tank fitted underneath and mirror finish stainless company logo between the boxes.

Ford F250 Steel Tray

Here’s a large tray we made in the shop the end of last year for a Space Cab F250. With the customers company logo plasma cut into the headboard and swirl polished stainless cappings around the tray the end result was quite the looker. Work lights are also located on the headboard facing into the tray as well as lights located inside the underbody toolboxes.

2014 Toyota Tundra Duel Cab

Design Brief : Luke came out to see us requiring a tray to be fabricated to replace the factory tub body to give him more room to work out of for his business.

After Sitting down and discussing what it was he required we drew up in our Solidworks CAD system the tray you see in the rendering.

The tray was fitted with a 4 inch Front headboard and a 4 inch removable Rear Headboard. We fitted 2 x underbody Toolboxes, trundle tray with central locking, 2 above body toolboxes with custom fit outs on either side with central locking also. As always we fitted Narva LED Lights and number Plate lights.

We also coated the Floor and the Back of the toolboxes in Rhino Coating to give it a harder wearing surface to last longer.

The Colour Matched 2 Pac paint for the Vehicle came out great and we hope that Luke is happy with his new Tray.

2016 PX Series 2 Blue Ford Ranger Duel Cab

Design Brief : Dave and Mitchell Came out Requesting a new tray and Toolboxes to be fabricated for their new Work Vehicle.

We fitted a 1900mm x 1900mm Tray with 3 inch Headboard, 3 inch Removable Rear Rack 2 x Shaped under body toolboxes , and a 1500mm x 150mm Deep Trundle Tray .

We also Fitted a Custom Feature of a Aircraft Style Filler Point to add a more class to the tray and to get ride of the ugly Factory filler point.

We also Cut out their Business Logo in the Headboard mesh For them.

They wanted something special with regards to fit and finish and the Colour Matched / Custom 2 tone paint for the Vehicle came out great and we hope Alex is happy with his new Tray.

2016 SR5 Duel Cab Toyota Hilux

Design Brief : Matt Came out Requesting a new tray and Toolboxes to be fabricated for a brand New Toyota Hilux .

We fitted a 3 Inch Headboard and 2 Shaped under body toolboxes.

On top to the Tray body we fitted 3 Custom made boxes.

Box 1 on the Drivers Side Had a Custom fit out with drawers and a slide out bench top for all his gear.

Box 2 on the Passenger Side Rear housed a MSA Drop down fridge Side Slide and Shelf for his Fridge.

Box 3 on the Passenger Side Front was a Dog Box with Ventilation On the Front Door.

All toolboxes we fitted with Central Locking wired back to the factory Remote and Door Alerts to make them safe and Secure .To the Top of the boxes we fitted 2 x Rola Roof Racks carrying anything matt needs too.With regards to fit and finish the Colour Matched 2pac Pearl paint for the Vehicle came out great and we hope Matt is happy with his new Tray.Call us today to find out what Luke Bodyworks can do for you.

Ford Falcon FGX XR6 Ute Custom Steel Tray

Design Brief : Rob and Alex Came out Requesting a new tray and Toolboxes to be fabricated for one of the last Ford Falcon Ute’s ever to be made.

We fitted a 3 Inch Headboard, 2 x Shaped under body toolboxes as well as a custom front toolbox for alex to put all his gear in.

We also Fitted a Custom Feature of a Aircraft Style Filler Point to add a more class to the tray

They wanted something special with regards to fit and finish and the Colour Matched / Custom 2 tone paint for the Vehicle came out great and we hope Alex is happy with his new Tray.

LC70 Landcruiser Single Cab

Design Brief : The 2016 Toyota LC Single Cab Landcruiser needed to fit our customers requirements

The tray was designed numerous times in Solidworks and by the end, was fitted with a Trundle tray with Central Locking, 3 under body tool boxes, an Under Body water Tank , one Piece guards all as Well as 2 HUGE Custom Designed above body tool boxes with complete interior Fit outs in each as well as lighting and central locking.

Colour Matched to the Vehicle we think this came out great and we hope the Guys at Hi Quality are happy with their new Tray.

Dodge Ram – Custom Tray Body

Design Brief : Peter Came out to see us after Speaking to the Guys at Lance Campers. He required a custom body to be built to Mount his new camper on as well as under body Tool boxes a fifth wheel Hitch and a custom mounted fuel tank at the front of the headboard. we re used his existing factory reversing sensors and re fit them into our Rear bar we also cut him out a custom headboard with his Farm’s Name in it . We also use Custom Racing Fuel Filler Points for his tray to really Finish it off.

All Colour Matched to the Vehicle we think this came out great and we hope Pete is happy with his new Tray.
