An old customer came back to us after we built them a landscaping trailer a few years ago, to get a tray and toolboxes made up for their new Hilux. The tray features a front chassis mounted toolbox with a drop down door on the passenger side to act as a ramp to load their lawnmower and the other side has a side hinging door to allow easy access. The main storage toolbox on the tray has custom trays, hooks and dividers fitted to store their whipper snippers, chainsaws and other tools, as well as a whipper snipper cable reel. Inside the tray is jerry can and spray bottle holders, heavy duty tie downs in the floor and a hose reel fabricated into the headboard. The tray is fully enclosed with 1m high sideboards to match the toolbox and then a pair of underbody toolboxes.

Recent custom Luke Bodyworks tray and canopy for a brand new VW Amarok. The canopy features our full electrical package with central locking, door alerts and interior lights. There is also a third flush mounted access door on the rear. Underneath the tray is a full length underbody drawer and two underbody toolboxes.

We fabricated this small canopy for a customers 79 series Landcruiser. It features two identical storage shelves on either side and a covered compartment in the middle to house his twin secondary batteries as well as his Redarc charger. The outside was colour matched to his factory colour. The inside was colour matched as well but sprayed with Raptor liner for a stronger finish.

This customer came to us looking to have some toolboxes made up for his Commodore. The boxes are an open design for large storage and are designed to clear his sports bar at the front. Up on the roof we fitted some unistrut to provide roof rack storage for his ladders. Underneath these two boxes is a large storage drawer that slides out the rear with a divider in the middle.

This was a big job recently completed here at the workshop. A completely custom setup of a steel tray and full size canopy for the back of a Nissan Patrol. The tray was fitted out with 4 underbody toolboxes, short trundle drawer, 80L water tank at the front and aircraft style filler points for both tanks. The headboard is also different from what we normally do and extends out over the cab for extra roof top storage and to mount two camp lights, two mounting positions for a swivel hunting spot light and the large LED driving lightbar over the windscreen. The canopy fitout was designed with storage and efficiency in mind. The passenger side has a removable front panel to mount the electrical system to allowing the wiring to be hidden behind. Next to all of this is a stainless steel battery cage for his lithium battery and space for the 40L Evakool drawer fridge as well as a small drawer. The drivers side has two storage drawers, one with a pull out table underneath and storage pockets up top. The rear wall has two adjustable spare wheel mounts as well as some vents to allow ventilation for the inside of the canopy. To finish the job off we mounted the Bush Company 270XT awning on top of the canopy.

A customer came to us with his brand new D-Max looking to get a completely custom and unique canopy fabricated to fit into his tub body. The design parameters for this job were to have as much usable space as possible and to follow the shape of the tub and sports bar while also retaining the factory roller shutter at the front. The canopy features 4 doors in total with one being incorporated into the tailgate for the lower section. This bottom section features a full slide out platform to follow the shape of the tub around the wheel arches allowing easy access to big and bulky items. The top section is a fixed shelf for additional storage and had to be designed with every bit of space in mind. The doors were fitted with central locking and there are multiple lights throughout the inside of this canopy. Up on top we fitted a Rhino Rack flat platform.

A recently completed job for a dual cab Hino truck with many extras and accessories. The two large toolboxes have multiple storage drawers in one for small parts with a fixed shelf above while the other has adjustable shelves and two slide out parts organisers. The rear section of the tray has tie down track running around the full perimeter to allow many different options when strapping something to the tray. Also in the rear section are two gas bottle holders, a storage tub for a pair of wheel chocks, a swingout vice and a dual jerry can holder. We also fitted two batteries in an additional battery holder under the tray to power his 240V inverter, his interior door lights and the four work likes located at the front and rear of the toolboxes. Up on top of the headboard we also fitted a large work beacon controlled by a switch in the cab. Underneath we also fabricated an underbody toolbox and fitted a plastic water tank.

A unique toolbox fabricated for Sinclair Components to fit to their truck bodies. These toolboxes feature an open bottom storage section, a small drawer at the top on one side and an internal storage hatch with its own door within the toolbox itself.

We were recently contacted by some rangers for the National Parks and Wildlife to fabricate a pair of gun safes for their vehicles. We fabricated the safes out of 3mm steel with an internal door bracing, internal hinge mechanism and reinforcemnt around the key hole and housing for extra security and the door is made of 6mm steel.
